Audio Book Narration
Audiobook popularity is growing and growing in popularity and studios are looking for solid audiobook narrators to work with.
But like anything, there’s a skill involved. This session will demythologise the industry and teach you about:
- how to do the book prep before your studio sessions
- the skills for narrating even the most tricky book.
- dealing with character voices within the text, and
- how to choose and prepare an audition and where to send it
We work with First and Third person narration for fiction, as well as non-fiction and the skills for becoming a bookable audio book narrator.
You’ll be sent material to prepare prior to the course.
Learn what you need to create stand-out narration for a variety of audio book styles.
This is a small-group session. Maximum of 6. There will be time for individual questions.
The next session is Saturday October 31st at 10am-12.30 Australian Eastern Standard Time (including a short break)
Cost is $150AUD (plus gst of 10%)
You just need to register, above, and you’ll be sent a Zoom link and materials in the week prior to the session. There will be time for individual questions.
